    BACKGROUND

Formally trained in the syntax of machines (read: Computer Science) but a restless self-taught artist, creation feels not like a choice, but a necessity. It is my method for extracting signal from the static — trying to grasp the peculiar experience of being a sentient mind. Can’t extract meaningful art from anything that’s not authentic, as mere (emotionally) detached observer, this stuff is the output of my emotional compiler grinding, kind of.. I yearn for a meaninful symbiosis of intellect&somatic awareness, mind&machine, raw nature&synthetic biology, ritual&scientific progress. Convinced, that we must move past mind-body dualism (and a bunch of other -isms) to survive our own evolution, I find myself constantly attempting to transition XORs to ANDs, building bridges between seemingly unrelated - or even contradicting - fields. Trying to add my two cents to the code — and have some fun whilst doing so before my process terminates.

    SEE ALSO

This site has been written in hugo and scss. After despairing over not finding any templates serving even remotely my usecase I decided to write my own theme from scratch. Following the KISS-principle you won’t find a single line of js here, I aim to keep it that way. Trying to strike the balance between aesthetically pleasing whilst not a sore to the neurodivergent eye. I furthermore decided deliberately against a “professional” look, bored by the all-too-common sleekness encountered everywhere on the web, I hope you enjoy this ’lil comfy, very much human corner of the internet. Aiming to open-souce the theme eventually (aka, clean up + add proper docs)
