$_Who wouldn’t like to cry on the dancefloor?

A sentence that made me fall in love w/someone once, one of these rare moments that can only occur when multiple things align, you see each other and know you perceive the world in similiar ways on a profound, non-verbal level. I’ve treasured it, the depth, the connection and the plain truth hidden in it. I want to think this is the reason that when I picked up this painting, ruined and unfinished for years, this memory somehow paved its way through my subconscious and turned it in one of my favorites - I did remember it whilst painting, this moment where you’re like OH! Thats what this one is about..?
